Hi friend,

Thank you so much for being here! My name is December, but I've been writing under the pen name, d.ellis, since 2014. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University in 2014 with a concentration in Creative Writing Fiction. I started my Instagram account (@d.ellispoetry) in 2016 and began sharing my poems and building a community of not only fantastic readers, but also other incredible authors and poets.

My debut poetry book, Things You Don't Talk About, is a collection written over ten years that touches on issues like mental health, family trauma, loss, and much more.
